Gordon Hirabayashi (April 23, 1918 January 2, 2012) --Aged 93, American Socialogist and Civil Rights activist who challenged the legality of the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War Two. He lost his case in the U.S. Supreme Court decision of Hirabayashi v. United States.
Bill Janklow (September 13, 1939 January 12, 2012)-- Aged 72--American politician from South Dakota. Janklow served as the state Attorney General (19751979 , Governor of South Dakota (19791987, 19952003); and as Soiuth Dakota's U.S. Representative in Congress (20032004). Cause of Death: Brain Cancer
